Mean Relatedness for each sample. Lynch and Ritland’s (1999) relatedness estimator calculated in COANCESTRY (Wang, 2011). Each point represents the relatedness of a given dyad. Average relatedness estimates per sample are connected for easy overview with blue dots and lines. Parentage-based relatedness for each hatchery-reared spat sample is depicted with a red triangle. Negative relatedness values are consequences of unbiased estimation of relatedness and represent a relatedness value of 0. Point sizes for outliers are increased. The lines dividing each box into two parts are medians, ends of the box are the upper and lower quartiles.
