Oyster landings for ‘west coast’ (including stations along the coast from Maryport, Cumbria to Sennen, Cornwall, and the Isle of Man) and for Mumbles from 1911 to 1937; black bar denotes total oyster landings recorded from ports on the ‘west coast’, grey bar denotes oyster landings recorded at Mumbles, South Wales. Note, blue regions when landings were not recorded because of WWI (1914–1918) and a fishing ban in Mumbles (1925). Landing information per station was not available prior to 1911 and Mumbles commercial oyster fishery closed in 1937.
