The phylogenetic trees was inferred by using the Maximum Likelihood (ML) methods (a) for salmonids and (b) for acipenserids based on the Tamura 3-parameter model. For the ML analysis, the tree with the highest log likelihood is shown. The trees are drawn to scale, with branch lengths measured in the number of substitutions per site. With light blue we depicted those samples that were considered reliable from taxonomic and technical points of view, while in orange we depicted the samples which were considered mislabelled after database query.
